The regulations have been proposed but not yet\u00a0implemented.\u00a0Contact the Office of Daniel E. Green\u00a0and be placed on a contact list to be notified as to when this program is put into effect, and also visit uscis.gov daily to get the latest news on the procedure.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Centralization of Waiver Filing<\/h2>\n<p>As of June 4, 2012, USCIS centralized waiver filing in the U.S. This ends a long term problem that had existed previously, where foreign nationals would file waivers with various overseas USCIS offices, each with its own standards for waiver adjudication. \u00a0The centralization process should make waiver adjudication more consistent. \u00a0In addition, domestic filing of waivers will make it cheaper for my clients to file waivers, since domestic filing would cut down on expensive and sometimes unpredictable overseas courier service use.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Temporary Protected Status for Syrian Citizens<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In March, DHS designated Syrian citizens in the U.S. as eligible for Temporary Protected Status due to the ongoing violence in the country. \u00a0Syrian citizens who were present in the U.S. on March 29 2012 and who have continuously resided in the U.S. since that date may apply for TPS status between March 29 and September 25 2012. \u00a0Contact the Office of Daniel E.
